Opening Day

Our Opening Day festivities for the minors and majors division have been confirmed and we are excited to share them with you. Please see below for the itinerary for Saturday, April 16.

We ask that everybody meet in the Johnston High School parking lot at 8:30 AM so we can line up the teams for the parade. Please have your child arrive in their full uniform (your manager will pass them out in the coming days). The parade will begin at 9 AM. We will march down Atwood Ave and take a right onto Hartford Ave before entering the park and heading to Kennedy Field. Once all divisions and teams have arrived on the field, we will begin our Opening Day ceremony at Kennedy. At the conclusion of the ceremonies, our 2-inning exhibition games will start. The schedule for those games is as follows:

MAJORS (all at Kennedy Field)
10:00 AM: Red Sox vs Athletics
10:45 AM: Yankees vs Expos
11:30 AM: Cardinals vs Braves

FARM MAJORS (all at Susi Field)
10:00 AM: Yankees vs Red Sox
10:45 AM: Yankees vs Padres

FARM MINORS (all at Susi Field)
11:30 AM: Dodgers vs Blue Jays
12:15 PM: Dodgers vs Mets

These game times are tentative and will be dependent on the completion of the parade/prior game. You should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled game.
