Tryout/player evaluation dates for players of baseball age 7-12 for the 2020 Spring baseball season are TBD (at Ferri Middle School gym).
Players of baseball age 13 thru 16 do not tryout and will automatically be assigned to a team in the Jr/Sr league.

NEW for 2020 Spring Season: Please note, all players baseball age 7-12 that did not play in the Major-division during the 2019 Spring baseball season are REQUIRED to attend tryout/player evaluations. For players baseball age 9-12, to be eligible for the Major-division, a tryout is required.
Updated League Format:
Based on the number of players of baseball age 7-12 registered for the 2020 Spring season, the JLL baseball format for the 2020 Spring season:
Minors-division (baseball age 7-9) (comprised of 4 teams)
Majors-division (baseball age 9-12) (comprised of 6 teams)
Baseball age 7-8: A player evaluation is REQUIRED in efforts to assign players to a Minor-division team by skill level. If a player is not able to make the tryouts, he/she will be automatically assigned to a team.
Baseball age 9: A player tryout is REQUIRED. If a 9 year old does not wish to play in Major-division for the 2020 Spring season, a tryout is still required, but please inform one of the coaches (at tryouts) that your son/daughter requests to "play down". Please understand that not all baseball players of baseball age 9 that tryout will be assigned to a Major-division team; however, will be assigned to a Minor-division team for the upcoming season.
Baseball age 10-12: A tryout is REQUIRED. All 10-12 year old players will be assigned to a Major-division team and MUST attend player tryouts. Players of baseball age 10-12 that do not attend tryouts will not be assigned to a team for the 2020 Spring season.
