John Simao Awarded the RI Little League Volunteer of the Year Award

Each year, Little League® International recognizes individuals for their commitment to, and participation in, the Little League program. On September 17th, Johnston's own John Simao was selected as the 2019 Little League Volunteer of the Year!

Congratulations John on representing Johnston Little League as "Volunteer of the Year". Your hard work and dedication over the numerous years of service is greatly appreciated by those that participate and volunteer in the Johnston Little League.

John was honored on September 28, 2019 (12PM) on the field at Fenway Park prior to the Red Sox game. In addition to the on-field recognition, the Red Sox Foundation will be awarding the Johnston Little League a donation to be used towards equipment in our 2020 season.

Congratulations John! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to support the Johnston LL these past 15+ years (as manager, coach, and currently serving his 14th year as JLL VP)! Thank you for all you do!
